In simple words

We only collect what we need to send you alerts and autofill your pilgrim details. We never ask for your TTD password or payment OTPs, we never sell your data, and you can delete your account and data at any time.

This Privacy Policy explains how DarshanAlert (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website, mobile application and browser extension (the “Service”). It applies together with our Terms of Service.

2.Information We Collect

  • Account details: your name, mobile number and email address.
  • Watch preferences: darshan type, dates, preferred time and number of pilgrims.
  • Pilgrim details you choose to save: name, age, gender and ID type with the last 4 digits for display.
  • Payment records: amount, plan and transaction status. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partner, not stored by us.
  • Basic technical data: device type, browser, and app logs needed to keep the Service secure and reliable.

3.How We Use Information

  • To monitor the TTD website for your selected dates and send you alerts.
  • To autofill pilgrim details on the official TTD booking form, on your device.
  • To process payments, refunds and send receipts.
  • To provide support and important service updates.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse of the Service.

4.What We Never Collect

  • Your TTD username or password.
  • Payment OTPs or your bank / card PIN.
  • Your full Aadhaar number beyond what you choose to autofill on your own device.

5.Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share limited information only with service providers who help us run the Service — messaging (WhatsApp, SMS, voice), email, hosting and payment partners — under strict confidentiality, or when required by law.

6.Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to team members who need it to support you. While no system is perfectly secure, we follow industry best practices and review our safeguards regularly.

7.Data Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Payment records are kept as required by tax laws. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days.

8.Your Rights

  • Access and download the data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate details from your Profile or Saved Pilgrims.
  • Turn off any alert channel from Notification settings.
  • Delete your account and personal data at any time.

9.Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as language and theme. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10.Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes and update the “Last updated” date above.
